Park Day

With In buried in work, I had to entertain the kids on my own today. I had grand plans to take them to the zoo, but after a couple of major meltdowns early in the morning, I gave up on Oakland.

Instead, we went to our favorite park in the morning.

 After Elliot's mid-day nap, we went out for ice cream.

Then, we went to Shoreline Park and tried the pedal boat.

The park had a cool boat themed play structure which the kids absolutely loved. When it was time to head back home, they didn't want to leave but I promised them we'll be back very soon with Daddy.
