Alexis' 3rd Birthday Party

Audrey had her very first build-a-bear experience at Alexis' birthday party. She picked out a bunny doll, named it "Rabbit", put a sound chip in its hand, stuffed it (while covering her ears since it gets pretty loud), and picked out a fireman costume for the doll. I was quite surprised that she chose the fireman costume for the doll. I thought she would go for a more girly thing, but I guess not!

Cal Train Ride

We took the Cal Train up to Menlo Park to have lunch and stroll around downtown. When it was time to get off the train, Audrey said "get off tomorrow". I guess she liked the train ride a lot.

She wanted of all things....."salad". Wow. It's probably because In and I were each having a huge plate of the leafy greens. So I gave her a little bit in her own bowl with a dash of vinaigrette dressing. I know she didn't like it because (1) she only dug in twice; (2) she did not respond when asked if she liked it; and (3) just look at her face!
