Rhea's 3rd Birthday Party

It is definitely birthday party season these days.

Audrey's friend Shayne celebrated her 3rd birthday with a pizza party at Fremont Park.

@ Happy Hollow Park

We went to Happy Hollow... again.

In and I have discovered that she is fearless when it comes to amusement park rides. One of the first things she wanted to ride was the roller coaster. After riding her usual kiddie rides, she insisted that she ride the frog hopper (kiddie version of the free fall). In and I didn't know if she would actually like it or end up being terrified by it. We let her ride it, and what do you know....she loved it! She ended up getting on the ride twice. 

Audrey is also not afraid of animals. This actually scares me. 

Caroline's 3rd Birthday Party

Audrey's good friend Caroline celebrated her birthday. The kids had tons of fun in the water and chowed down ice cream cake in seconds!

Tiny Treks

This week, we went to Wunderlich Park in Woodside.

The kids sang some songs.

Did some stretching.

Then we all went for a short hike up the trail surrounded by huge redwood trees.

We came back down for some snacks and Teacher Cindy read the kids a couple of books.

The highlight of today's outing has to be the horses. Audrey had no fear and jumped right at touching it. I don't know where she gets that from - both In and I are NOT huge pet/animal lovers.

Tap/Ballet Class

Audrey had her first tap/ballet class. It's an hour long class that starts with tap and then switches to ballet  half way through. I originally did not want to enroll Audrey into this class because I didn't want to spend the extra money on tap shoes, but I am glad that I did. She really enjoyed making some serious noise with the tap shoes.

Cherry Picking

We went cherry picking to Brentwood. It was very warm but quite windy which made it very pleasant for the occasion. 

Audrey immediately got to work and started picking out cherries. 

  

She ate quite a bit as well.

   

   

  

We ended up purchasing close to 20 pounds of cherries!

Norah's 3rd Birthday Party

Norah's birthday party was super exciting for Audrey since there was a special fairy coming to the party. She went in her own butterfly wings and once the fairy was there, she did not take her eyes off of her.

The fairy did an amazing job with the face painting.

Tiny Treks

For the summer, Audrey is signed up for Tiny Treks where each week they visit local parks and go hiking and explore the outdoors. Her favorite friend Caroline is also signed up so it's also nice that they get to see each other every week. 

Today's location was the Redwood Grove Park in Los Altos. Audrey had a lot of fun walking around, finding random things such as sticks and rocks to put in her decorated egg carton, and enjoying some snacks with her new friends. The highlight of the day was the stream that she got to go in with the rubber ducky on a string. What fun!

Ferran's 3rd Birthday Party

 Birthday party season kicked off a while ago, and Audrey's been going to many birthday parties recently. Ferran's birthday party was at My Gym and she had quite an exciting afternoon.
