5 Year Check Up

Audrey had her 5 yr check up. She weighs 42 pounds, and stands 43 inches tall. That puts her in the 60% range in the CDC growth chart.

Claire's 5th Birthday Party

It was a pizza making party at Whole Foods. 

She put on a pink apron and decorated her chef's hat.

She prepped the dough.

Spread pizza sauce.

Sprinkled on a lot of cheese.

Picked out her favorite toppings, and in the oven it went.

Voila! Pizza complete! She ate the whole pizza.

Roller Girl

Audrey's been wanting roller skates for months now. I've been pushing it back, telling her she will get them when she turns five. Well, she is now five. So In's parents got them for her for her birthday. She can't ride them (at all), but she absolutely loves to wear them. 

She grew out of her old helmet, so I got her a brand new one (that she picked out).

Audrey's 5th Birthday Party

The day that Audrey's been waiting for - her 5th birthday party. She has been set on SafariRun as the party venue ever since she's been to a couple of parties there. I have to admit, if I were a kid, I'd want to have a party there, too. The play structure looks amazing and so much fun. Also, Audrey wanted a Dr. Suess/Cat in the Hat themed party. She even drew me a picture of the cake she wanted. She did not make it easy for me.

The place has the best slides.

Audrey Is Five!

Audrey is five!

We got her a new throne for her 5th birthday. (Elliot is sitting on her previous chair. Check out the difference in size!)

She decorated her birthday crown at preschool. I read a book to the kids (Cat in the Hat, per Audrey's request), and her friends sang happy birthday to her. She was all smiles pretty much all day. 

Birthday festivities to be continued....her big birthday party is tomorrow.
