Train Ride

By Elliot's request, he and I took yet another Caltrain ride together.

Stanford Cantor Arts Center

We finally got to take the kids to the Stanford Cantor Arts Center.

It's a very kid friendly place, they provide a sketch book and color pencils so the kids can draw right on the spot in front of their inspirations.  

The museum also gave each kid a frame, so they both picked their favorite drawings to put in them. It was Audrey and Elliot's very first visit to an art museum and I think both kids had a lot of fun.

Weekend in Monterey

We spent the weekend in Monterey with friends.

First stop, the aquarium.

After a quick lunch, we went to the famous Dennis the Menace Park. We could probably spend hours at this park.

After we checked in to the hotel, the kids had to play in the pool for a bit.

We all had a wonderful dinner together and also celebrated E's big 40.
