Old Friends
We haven't seen Will for almost a year, but Audrey and Will remembered each other and the three kids had a great time.

Muir Woods
We drove up to Mill Valley to check out the Muir Woods. There were so many people there, we almost gave up because we couldn't find parking. (Eventually, we got vip rock star parking!)
Kids weren't all that impressed with the tall red woods. They just wanted to run around.
It was a fun day trip and a nice change of scenary.

Valentine's Day Party
Audrey's class had its Valentine's Day party in the morning. All the kids had made frog mail boxes for their Valentine's Day cards.
Cookie decorating (and eating afterwards) is always popular.
Sabine was so sweet and helped Elliot play.

Of course Elliot didn't miss out on the cookies.
The kids made a beautiful sun catcher by melting crayons on wax paper.
Bingo game.

Audrey spent a good chunk of time reading all her Valentine's Day cards (and eating some of the sweets).
Elliot had to skip gym class to go to Audrey's class party, so we stopped by the park on the way home to make up for it.
Coming back home from school in the afternoon was done on wheels. The weather is just gorgeous in California.

Rainy Day
It rained (a lot!) pretty much all day in CA. We really need the rain here so I can't complain, but that meant the kids spent most of the day indoors. So we did a lot of arts and crafts today.
The good old salad spinner art.
Elliot really liked this activity. He made well over a dozen of them.
Water colors.
Audrey was more in to her fashion drawing book (Christmas present).
In their own reading chairs.
We braved the rain and went to the local library for Valentine's Day crafts.
The kids made beautiful Valentine's trees(?). They each got to decorate a little pot, pick a silver painted branch to stick in the pot, and then decorate it with lot of pretty heart ornaments.
The kids also got to make a few Valentine's Day cards as well.
Audrey spent the rest of Sunday afternoon making more Valentine's Day cards for her classmates.
