Another Egg Hunt

Easter morning, we had another egg hunt with our next door neighbor and their three kids. We hid a lot of eggs around the townhouse grounds and the kids had a great egg hunt. We didn't have to deal with the crazy crowds so it was much more enjoyable and definitely relaxing (especially for the adults!).

They had so much fun, I'm hoping we can do it again next year.

Audrey and I also dyed some eggs while Elliot was napping in the afternoon.

17 Months Old

Elliot is 17 months old today.

Gardening

We finally bought some plants to put out in the patio. 

Audrey will be in charge of watering them.

Easter Egg Hunt

We met up with Elle for an Easter egg hunt at Holbrook Palmer Park.

This was Elliot's first egg hunt. He immediately got the concept - he found eggs, he put them in his basket. 

Audrey was an expert at collecting eggs.

The weather's been pretty warm lately so we have been playing outside a lot more. 

Siblings

It's no secret that Audrey is jealous of Elliot. It's been like that from the day he came home with us. But sometimes, I see light at the end of the tunnel.

This afternoon, Audrey and I went in to Elliot's room together after he woke up from his nap. Audrey got groggy Elliot all happy and excited to see her. (Clip is a bit dark because I didn't have the chance to open the curtains.)

Audrey even reads to her little brother!

But usually, Elliot is the trouble maker. He will get into her stuff, not give her space, etc. Audrey's on the sensitive side so little things can get her upset. Elliot is a screamer. He just screams (oh can he scream!) when he can't get what he wants. And this will really annoy Audrey. Oh the joys of having a sibling!
