Happy Birthday Elliot!

Since we had the big birthday party a couple of weekends ago, his actual birthday was a simple cupcake and a candle.

We took the kids to the Halloween parade and trick or treat event in downtown Menlo Park.

Audrey was done with being Tinkerbell and wanted to be a super hero today. Elliot was dressed up as Batman.

She loved the trick or treat part the most.

Elliot starts to sway side to side and shake his head when he hears music. It's hilarious.

Elliot's 1st Birthday Party

And just like that, Elliot turns one! His actual birthday is Oct. 31 (Halloween!), so we had a Halloween themed party. Elliot was Superman and Audrey was dressed as Tinkerbell.

I also prepared some trick or treating for the kids.

Elliot's dol-jab-ee: he picked money! (Just like Audrey did when she had hers.) Then he tried to pick out the golf ball, but didn't actually grab it because every time he tried to grab it, people would clap/cheer and I think it freaked him out a little.

I'm kicking myself for not taking any video clips of this moment!

Halloween Playdate

We had our annual Halloween playdate with Audrey's playgroup.

Audrey is Tinkerbell this year. She wanted to be Tinkerbell for Halloween for as long as I can remember.

Preschool Field Trip - Webb Ranch

Audrey's preschool went on a field trip to Webb Ranch pumpkin patch. It was her very first field trip so she was quite excited about it. She wanted to dress like a pumpkin.

Audrey passed her level test and is now moving on to level 2. She got her red ribbon today!
