Stanford Jazz Concert for Kids

In and I took the kids to the Stanford Jazz Concert for kids. I only have before and after concert pics because no photography was allowed during the concert.

Elliot @ Playschool

Elliot's highlight of the day has to be his 15 minutes at Playschool when we drop off Audrey in the morning. He absolutely loves it. He rushes in and checks out all the activity stations for the day. He usually sits at the art table and wants to do what the big kids are doing. The teachers often let him in on the action. When it's time to leave he starts crying/screaming and I have to lug him out of there.

I went to pick up Audrey from preschool camp, and she was a dalmatian.

Fun with Friends

In the morning, Audrey and I went to a birthday party where the face painter did elaborate paintings on the arm. 

In the afternoon, we had a potluck picnic with Audrey's old friends and their families. The kids used to see each other every week when they were younger. Now, with everyone in school, we don't meet on a regular basis, but we still try to get together a couple of times a year. It's a little more hectic with more siblings (3 not in the photo) but it's so much fun.

Exploratorium

Tomorrow is Father's Day, so we celebrated a day early and spent the day in SF's Exploratorium. It was a very fun place for both kids and adults. You can easily spend all day there. Audrey loved the place. There were lots of people, but I would absolutely go again.

Last Day of Preschool

Today was the last day of preschool for Audrey. She did 2 years at Playschool and it has been pure joy to see her grow and flourish into the young girl she is now. I can't believe she's going to kindergarten in the fall.

 Playschool did not have a big graduation ceremony but the parents were invited to portfolio distribution and farewell party.

She will miss her friends, but then again, she will see some of them at kindergarten in the fall.

Elliot will probably be at Playschool next year so she will have many opportunities to stop by and say hi.

Although it is officially the last day of school, she does have summer camp starting next week, so she will be at Playschool for a few more weeks. 

Birthday Parties

It is definitely birthday party season, and this weekend was no exception. 

In the morning we headed to Safari Run for Ava's 5th birthday party. Safari Run seems to be every kid's preferred birthday party venue these days.

The highlight of Ava's party has to be Rapunzel. 

She got a glitter tattoo from Rapunzel.

In the afternoon, we went over to Charlotte's for her 5th birthday party. The cake was so delicious.
