Enjoying the Winter Break

We hung out with Anastasia and Leo in the morning and in the afternoon as well. First we met super early for ice skating at the Winter Lodge.

After skating, we parted for the boys' naps. Then we met up again to see the Pop Ups perform in Los Altos. This is by far Audrey and Elliot's favorite performer these days. We listen to their music all day everyday.

The performance was a hit, especially with Audrey.

She even took a photo with one of the members.

We also ate out for dinner together. It was like one long playdate (excluding the nap part). 

Christmas Morning

The kids were busy this morning opening up their Christmas presents.

We had a Christmas playdate/dinner at Audrey's BFF Anastasia's.

The girls got in the holiday mood by singing a couple of songs for everyone.

    

Salt Dough Ornaments

School's out for the holiday break, so we spent the morning making salt dough ornaments.

Then we went out for lunch. Our neighbor Simran joined us.

Ice Skating

We went to the Winter Lodge to give ice skating a try.

After about an hour, Audrey got so much better at it. She now wants to take ice skating lessons.

Holiday Cookies

We went over to our next door neighbor's house to decorate holiday cookies.

There were lots of frosting, edible markers, and of course sprinkles to decorate the cookies with.

Elliot just liked to lick frosting off his cookies.
