Hot Day

 

After School

After school, we went ice skating.

Then, we drove straight to a friend's house and jumped in the pool.

It's a good life for sure.

Kite Flying

Elliot got it as a party favor over the weekend and he's been running around with it ever since.

Birthday Parties

It was a busy weekend with fun birthday parties.

On Saturday, Audrey went to a classmate's birthday party and had a great time with a lot of the girls in her kindergarten class.

On Sunday, we were invited to Audrey's old friend Will's soccer birthday party. Audrey and Elliot had a blast just running around and eating yummy cupcakes.

Lego

I'm not a big fan of the pink/purple Lego bricks that are so popular these days, but Audrey seems to like them. (Thank you Jehee for the gift!)

Morning at the Park

Early Saturday morning at the park.

Painting

Audrey was in the mood for painting. She got these little rubber spike balls in her easter eggs and she wanted to try out painting with them. She rolled her rubber spiky balls around in a tray.

It soon became hand painting. Literally.

Audrey was more serious about it.

It was a warm day so I popped out the Zoku. It's so hard to wait 10 minutes. 

Easter Egg Hunt

We did an egg hunt on Easter morning with our next door neighbor. The five kids were ready for egg hunting!

Audrey started the morning by decorating her own Easter bag for the eggs.

And off they went! I had well over 150 eggs for 5 kids so there were more than plenty.

We all went over to our neighbor's place to open up the eggs and see what we all got.

We also dyed a lot of eggs, and of course ate a few.

Oran Etkin's Clarinet Concert

We took the kids to see a family concert - Oran Etkin's Clarinet Concert "Wake Up, Clarinet!" at Stanford. Audrey was really impressed with the clarinet and Elliot would not stop talking about the big blue tuba.

Audrey even got autographs on the CDs we purchased.
