Park, Please.
I asked Audrey what she wanted to do today. Happy Hollow? Museum? Hidden Villa? SF? She said park. She said park with the train play structure. So we drove maybe 5 minutes to the "train park" in Palo Alto (Heritage Park). I guess it doesn't require much to make the kids happy.
In the afternoon, on our way to get some ice cream (special spring break treat), we passed by the hardware store saw that the store was selling baby chicks. We spent at least 15 minutes there admiring the yellow babies. Talk about nostalgia, I think the last time I saw baby chicks for sale at a store was when I was about Audrey's age back in Seoul.
And here's Elliot on his balance bike.

Monterey Bay Aquarium
We went to Monterey to visit the aquarium.
The aquarium has a new special exhibit - tentacles. Audrey got to try out an interactive camouflaging app on a big screen.
The kids had a lot of fun.
Elliot passed out on the drive back home.

Spring Break
Spring break is turing out to be a lot of fun. We got out of the house early to explore a neighborhood park we've never been to.
Our morning destination was C is for Craft. My craft girl Audrey has never been to the place and she really wanted to check it out.
Audrey and I dyed eggs while Elliot was napping. She showed them off to Elliot as soon as he woke up.

Easter Bunny
I took the kids to see the Easter Bunny. Elliot refused to sit on the bunny's lap, but at least he didn't freak out.
Audrey showed off her new twirly skirt I made for her.
In the afternoon, I tired out the kids at La Petite Playhouse.

Oakland Zoo
It's spring break, so we went to Oakland Zoo in the morning. Elliot's been wanting to go to the zoo for weeks now, so it was a big deal for him. The Pfaff boys joined us for double the fun.
We can never get out of the Oakland Zoo without stopping by the little rides area. Elliot got to ride the carousel and Audrey hopped on the roller coaster all by herself.
