Downtown Halloween Parade

While Elliot was napping at home, Audrey and I went to downtown Menlo Park for the Halloween parade and trick or treating event. Audrey is an astronaut for Halloween this year.

We met with school friend Max. He was Chef Max. They made quite a team trick or treating together.

The Pop Ups - In Concert!

I took the kids and our neighbor's kid Harlee to the library to see The Pop Ups - In Concert! I have never heard of The Pop Ups so I had no idea what to expect. (Apparently, the duo from Brooklyn even have a Grammy nominated CD.) The show was very entertaining and age appropriate. The girls (and Elliot) definitely had a lot of fun dancing and watching the show.

Halloween Party

Audrey's playgroup had a Halloween pizza party, complete with mummy crafts, jumpy house, face painting and lots of fun. 

It was a bit too warm to wear the Halloween costume, but Audrey debuted her astronaut costume at the party.

Halloween Cookies

We made Halloween cookies - ghost and pumpkins shapes.

I don't have photos of the frosted cookies because at that point, things were out of control and there were sprinkles everywhere, Audrey's cookies were literally swimming in frosting, and my goal was to wrap up this activity as soon as possible and clean up!

Flu Shot
