Ice Skating Lesson

Elliot got his first ribbon in ice skating.

Kinder Registration

It's really happening. Elliot is going to kindergarten in the fall. 

T-Ball Practice

No rain, but it was cold.

     

Ice Skating

We went to the ice rink a little early for Elliot's ice skating class and enjoyed public skating time together.

During lesson time, Audrey was right there coaching Elliot.

     

Solar System

I purchased a science/craft book for Audrey and she got inspired by it to make the solar system with rubberband balls. After going threw 3 huge bags of colorful rubberbands making several rubberband balls, she has now lost interest. Elliot has taken over the project and has perfected his rubber band ball making technique. He is determined to finish this project. I just have to buy more green rubberbands for him.

     

Rainy Day

Stuck at home on a rainy day. Trying to entertain the kids with an alka-seltzer science experiment.

We also moved our ball game indoors.

We finally made it to the SF MoMA.

100th Day of School

Elliot's class celebrated 100th day of school. He took 100 cotton balls glued inside a pizza box.

Elliot's first day of t-ball. He is a proud team member of the Oriole's.

Playdate

Rainy day calls for an after school playdate.

Swim Lessons

The covered pool closed for maintenance, so Elliot's swim class got cancelled. But Audrey's swim lesson got moved to the outdoor performance pool......in February! Brrrr

Monopoly

Spent the afternoon playing Monopoly with the boy. Considering the fact that Elliot is illiterate, he's pretty good at it.

Family Bike Ride

Debate Tournament

Audrey participated in her first debate tournament. She was so nervous about the whole day but it was a great experience for her. Out of 5 rounds, she was 3-2. Not bad, not bad at all.

Many of her school friends were competing at the tournament.

She did not qualify for the next rounds tomorrow, but she and her friends had a wonderful time all day (very long 10 hour day) and all were smiles with their participation trophies.
